Delaney Park is a long and beautiful urban park that spans east to west for several city blocks in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. This is a popular park with the local community and some of it's amenities include two sand volleyball courts, eight tennis courts, an ice-hockey rink for cold winter days, a soccer field, a basketball court, a ball diamond, and paved multipurpose trails.

This is the oldest park in the city of Anchorage having been first established in 1917 and named for Major Delaney, one of the city's first mayors. Before it became the park that it is today it was used as an air strip and eventually a golf course. Today it is home to numerous community festivals and events year round.
