The land that is today's Elderberry Park in Anchorage was once property of the Federal Government but was transferred in the early 20th century for recreational purposes. Today one can come out to walk it's trail or explore the historic Oscar Anderson House. It's location along the railroad tracks also makes this park a great place for train watching.
