Welcome to the northernmost National Forest in the United States, Alaska's Chugach National Forest. This forest, roughly the size of New Hampshire, sprawls across southern Alaska and covers the Prince William Sound, the Copper River Delta, and the Kenai Peninsula.  

Wildlife: Chugach National Forest helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including black bears, brown bears, moose, caribou, foxes, squirrels, rabbits, peregrine falcons, and bald eagles. Please treat their home with respect.  

For the lover of the outdoors this forest boasts hundreds of miles of trails, many mountains to climb, awesome kayaking, and so much more. Come on out and explore.
