Welcome to Capitol Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, home to the University of Alabama. This was the location of the Alabama State Capitol from 1826-1846. Come out and see some history.

Tuscaloosa Alabama Park Ordinances
*The following are prohibited; alcohol, climbing trees, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, smoking.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, picnicking, remote control aircraft, swimming.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 10 feet) and waste removed.
*All persons ages 5 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.
*All sales require special permit.
