Oracle State Park
Welcome to Arizona's beautiful Oracle State Park located in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains just north of Tucson. Aside from the miles of multipurpose trails including a section of the Arizona Trail, many people also flock to this park for stargazing.
History: Before this land became a state park it was a place known as the Kannally Ranch owned by a woman named Lucille Kannally. Kannally initially donated the land to Defenders of Wildlife but in the 1980's it became property of the State of Arizona but it was not until the fall of 2001 that it first opened.
