Welcome to Townsend Park located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona just west of the good Samaritan Medical Center. This small urban playground has a lighted basketball court allowing for night games, a picnic area with grills, a sprayground for hot summer days (and it gets very hot in Phoenix), and a playground for the kids. So come out and shoot some hoops, bring the kids, and have some fun in the Phoenix sun! To reserve a facility or speak to staff please call 602-262-6412.

When visiting any park in Phoenix, Arizona please know the rules.

*Glass objects are forbidden in all parks.

*All sales require special permit.

*Please respect all park property including trees, flowers, benches, etc.

*All burning is resricted to picnic grills.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Arizona Traffic laws.

*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; flying remote control aircraft, fishing, swimming, golfing.

*Tennis shoes must be worn on the tennis courts and the courts may only be used for their designated purpose.

*No littering. Please place all trash in trash cans.
