Welcome to Arizona's beautiful Picacho Peak State Park located not far from Interstate 10 in Picacho. This 1,500 foot high rock formation has been the site of much history, from Native American hunting grounds, to Mormon Pioneers, to a Civil War Battle that occurred April 15, 1862. The place first became a State Park in May 1968. Today this park boasts many trails to be explored as well as 85 campsites with electricity and water.
