Austin Creek State Recreation Area

Activities:
Camping
Fishing
Hiking
Horse Back Riding
Picnicking

Welcome to California's beautiful Austin Creek State Recreation Area located just north of Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. While exploring the rugged hiking trails one may see mountain lions, black bears, bobcats, deer, raccoons, skunks, or coyotes.

Fishing: Anglers are welcome to fish the park's Bullfrog Pond but all the streams are closed to fishing in order to protect salmon spawning grounds. Come out and cast a line.

Camping: Austin Creek State Recreation Area has a campground at Bullfrog Pond with a 20 foot limit on RV trailers. Sadly there are no showers nearby. Come out and stay a few nights.

To contact the park office please call 707-869-9177.
