Welcome to the San Francisco bay's largest island, the beautiful Angel Island State Park. For the Coast Miwok Native Americans this was a big hunting and gathering ground. In more recent times the island was used to house POW's from World War II. Some of the resident wildlife include pelicans, seals, and the occasional deer.
