Welcome to James M. Foisia Park in Carson, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, the City of Angels. This park was once known as Scott Park but was renamed in honor of a man who was born in Hawaii on December 27, 1949 and grew up to migrate to Carson, California where he would be a true leader in recreation. This park is home to the Favela Chavez Shopping Center and the swimming pool is a 25 meter lap pool with a diving board.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, disorderly conduct, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, swimming.

*The following require special permits; amplified sound, sales.

*Skate parks require helmet and pads.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
