Welcome to California's beautiful Castle Crags State Park located in the Castle Crags Wilderness and home to two massive domes of granite that are over 170 million years in age. There are over 28 miles of hiking trails here just waiting to be explore. While on these trails one can catch views of Mount Shasta, Castle Crags, and many others. For thousands of years before the first European settlers arrived in the region the Okwanuchu Shasta Native American tribe occupied this region. In 1833 they were exposed to the newly introduced Malaria germ and many died.

The park has 76 developed campsites with electricity and water. To contact the office please call 530-235-2684.
