Norman Park is a small neighborhood park in Chula Vista, California. It is named for the man who was the first park's supervisor in Chula Vista, Chet Norman. Today this park has picnic areas and an active senior citizens center.
Chula Vista Park Rules
*The following are all prohibited in the city parks; amplified sound, littering, explosives, weapons, smoking, burning outside of picnic grills, soliciting without proper permits.
*People are allowed to bring their own tables, canopies, and chairs but canopies are limited to three per event and may not be larger than 10 by 10 feet.
*All caterers must make a reservation ahead of time.
*All animals must be leashed no longer than six feet.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of California traffic laws.
*At Eucalyptus, Friendship, Harborside, Lauderbach and Memorial Parks, alcohol can be served with the proper permits. Residents - $30 o Non-Residents - $60 o Alcohol Permits must be purchased in person at 1800 Maxwell Road. Alcoholic beverages are permitted, however, no keg beer or glass containers.
*Parks open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. at Rohr Park and 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at all other parks.
