Welcome to California's Franks Tract State Recreation Area located northeast of the Bay Area. This park is only accessible by watercraft and like many of the National Wildlife Refuges it was established in order to protect habitat for migratory birds. Come out and explore by boat and do a little fishing or bird-watching.
