Welcome to Fresno's Unique Oso de Oro Lake Park, an early California themed recreation area. At the entrance one will see the Margaret Hudson Grizzly Bear sculpture, but do not be frightened because it's not a real grizzly bear. To reserve the picnic area or other facility here please call 559-456-3292. The playgrounds are also based off of California history. Another great features of this park is not only the fact that it's ADA accessible, but many of the employees are diagnosed with disabilities as well, making it an equal opportunity recreation area. Come out and do a little bird-watching on the park's viewing platform. The picnic area has a grill so bring some meats for cooking. The basketball courts are two half courts.

This park was RecPlanet place of the day on December 12, 2014.
