Welcome to Veterans Park in Long Beach, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. This park was established in 1940 and is unique in that it was originally located at the site of nearby Birney Elementary School but got a new location in 1952. Like all parks of the same name across the country, this one is dedicated to the men and women of the United States Military. The basketball courts are two half courts and the volleyball court is a paved court.
