Welcome to one of North America's largest municipal parks and a historic icon of the City of Los Angeles, the magnificent Griffith Park. The Griffith Observatory was first built in 1935 and is the most visited observatory in the world. While at Griffith Park one can also explore over 70 miles of multipurpose trails, see the Los Angeles Zoo, or even some animals that are not in cages including coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, and many others.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, camping, fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.

*All persons ages 8 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.
