Welcome to Los Angeles County's Ruben F. Salazar Park. The first parcel of land that is now Ruben F. Salazar Park was purchased by Los Angeles County in the late 1930's from the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital and made into "East Los Angeles Playground." In 1970 the County decided to name the park in memory of a Los Angeles Times Columnist and executive of the KMEX TV Station, Ruben F. Salazar. Today this 8 acre park boasts a swimming pool, a baseball field, basketball courts, and much more. Come on out and have fun.

To contact the park office please call 323-260-2330.
