Welcome to Cesar Chavez Plaza in Sacramento, California. This urban space is named after Mexican-American farmer and activist Cesar Chavez, who was born in Yuma, Arizona and advocated for workers rights in the 1970's Come out for a nice picnic and see the beautiful fountain.

Sacramento California Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special occasions), defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, swimming.
*The following require special permits; camping, sales.
*Unless engaging in the care, custody, or supervision of a person younger than the ages of 18, all persons ages 18 and up are prohibited from being at the playgrounds.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
*All users of the skate parks must wear helmet and pads.
