Welcome to Franklin D. Roosevelt Park in Sacramento, California. This park is for the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who helped lead the nation through both the Great Depression and WWII. FDR was the longest serving President of the United States.
The ball diamond at FDR Park is lighted so people can play at night.

Sacramento California Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special occasions), defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, swimming.
*The following require special permits; camping, sales.
*Unless engaging in the care, custody, or supervision of a person younger than the ages of 18, all persons ages 18 and up are prohibited from being at the playgrounds.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
*All users of the skate parks must wear helmet and pads.
