Welcome to Granite Regional Park in Sacramento, California. This park was once a granite quarry that was owned and mined by the Granite Construction Company before being purchased by the City of Sacramento. Today it is home to one of the largest skate parks in the United States at 45,000 square feet in size.
Picnicking: Granite Regional Park has 5 Group Areas for picnicking. GA1 has a capacity of 100 with 5 tables and 3 small grills. GA2 has a 50 person capacity with 3 tables and 1 small grill. GA3 and GA4 each have a 50 person capacity, 6 tables, and 2 small grills. GA5 has a 50 person capacity with 4 tables and 2 small grills. Come out and have fun.

Sacramento California Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special occasions), defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, swimming.
*The following require special permits; camping, sales.
*Unless engaging in the care, custody, or supervision of a person younger than the ages of 18, all persons ages 18 and up are prohibited from being at the playgrounds.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
*All users of the skate parks must wear helmet and pads.
