Welcome to Almaden Quicksilver County Park, a place rich in California History and natural diversity located on the Capitancillos Ridge in New Almaden, California. Long before this land became a county park it was the home to over 1,800 miners and their families over a span of 135 years. There are still remnants of these mining activities located inside the park boundaries but all mine entrances have been sealed shut.

For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts spectacular wildflowers, two fishing reservoirs (WARNING due to high Mercury Levels the fishing is Catch and Release only), over 20 miles of multipurpose trails, numerous picnic tables, and much more. Come on out and have fun.

To contact the park office please call 408-268-3883.
