Welcome to Adventure Park, a Los Angeles County Park located in Whittier, California. Los Angeles County first purchased this land back in 1959 and opened it up as a community park in May of 1962 after over two and a half years of hard work. It was initially called Gunn Avenue Park due to it's location but the County decided to rename it Adventure Park due to it's very positive influence on the local community.
