Welcome to Seattle's Me-Kwa-Mooks Park, like some of the other city parks, this one was once part of the Ferdinand Schmitz homestead. The name itself, is Native American terminology that translates to "shaped like a bear's head." This park offers hiking trails, picnic tables, and helps protect the home of screech owls and many marine creatures.
