People from around the Denver area come to Westlake Trails Park in Broomfield to explore it's trails. It has multipurpose paved recreation trails that go in all directions. One section has a picnic area and a playground.
Broomfield Colorado Park Ordinances
*All recreation areas open at 5 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.
*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; golfing, flying remote control aircraft, swimming, operating grills, use of narcotics, consumption of alcoholic beverages, use of foul langugage, engaging in threatening behavior, littering, disturbing plants or animals.
*The following activities require special permits; erection of tents, sales, solicitations, overnight camping.
*It is a crime to abandon a domestic animal on park property.
*All vehicles must say in designated areas and obey all State of Colorado traffic laws.
