Welcome to Mueller State Park! This is a pet friendly park! Located beneath towering Pike's Peak in the majestic Rocky Mountains the park is considered to be a playground for lovers of the great outdoors!

Park History: Mueller State Park was once a popular hunting ground for the Ute tribe. Once the Gold Rush began, settlers and pioneers arrived and the nearby land was harvested for timber, farming and ranching. The park was named for the land's former owners, the Mueller family, who had established the place as a game preserve. It became a Colorado State Park in 1980.

Today the park provides numerous recreation opportunities including over 50 miles of multi-purpose trails, cabins, and campgrounds. The park also protects the homes of creatures including elk, bear, mountain lions and mule deer. Some of the parks plants include spruce pines and aspens. Come on out and explore!
