Welcome to Jefferson County's Apex Park. Located in the foothills above Golden, and on the path of the old "Apex and Gregory Wagon Road" Apex Park offers solitude from suburban Denver. On the parks trails one can catch magnificent views of the Hogback formation, Green Mountain, and the Table Mountains. It is a great place for wildlife viewing and one can see mountain lions, white-tailed deer, black bears, and many others.
