Wildlife: Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including prairie dogs, mule deer, white-tailed deer, painted turtles, painted rattlesnakes, peregrine falcons, western meadowlarks, red-tailed hawks, and yellow warblers. Please treat their home with respect.
