Welcome to Affolter Park located in Longmont, Colorado. Affolter Park was named for Frederick Affolter, a Swiss immigrant who settled in the St. Vrain Valley in 1862 and became a dairy farmer. The park was founed in 1978. Dogs are allowed in the park but the law mandates that they must be leashed and all waste removed. Some of the park amenities include a picnic shelter, two lighted basketball courts, four lighted tennis courts and more. Come out and have fun!
