Welcome to Hall Ranch! Located in the Boulder County Foothills between the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains, Hall Ranch serves as an important wildlife refuge for critters such as the great horned owl, golden eagle, mountain lion, elk, big horned sheep, coyote, fox, badger, and bobcat. Hall Ranch does not allow dog's on it's 12+ miles of trails but it does allow for bikers and horseback riders.

Park History: Hall Ranch was once occupied by the Arapaho and Cheyenne tribes for many centuries. Once white settlers came, much of the land was used for farming and a sandstone quarry was also established. Much of the rock that was mined at the quarry went into the buildings at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In the 1920's the park was purchased by the Nelson family who eventually sold it to the Hall Family. The Hall family operated the land as a working ranch for over 50 years before finally selling the land to Boulder County in 1993. Come on out to Hall Ranch and explore!
