North Sterling State Park is a beautiful high plains reservoir located in northeastern Colorado. In the summer months this is one of the most popular recreation areas for miles around as it attracks fisherman, boaters, and waterskiers. Being located miles from any major city people come out here year round for stargazing.

Aside from all the aquatic and atmospheric recreation there are also many terrestrial opportunities here.

Camping: There are 141 campsites that range in size from the smallest tent to the largest recreational vehicle. Come out and stay a night or two.

Fishing: Catfish, walleye, rainbow trout, crappie, bluegill, and largemouth bass are just a few of the fish that swim around in this reservoir. Come out and cast a line.

Trails: There are over three miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons, Cyclists, hikers, and equestrians are all welcome.
