Welcome to the beautiful Bigelow Hollow State Park & Nipmuck State Forest, one of Connecticut's largest recreation areas. This park helps to protect one of this corner of the state's last remaining tracts of untouched forest. The first parcels of land were purchased in 1905 and the last ones in 1949. Come out and explore many miles of hiking trails.
