Welcome to Tomasso Nature Park in Plainville, Connecticut. This park was first established in 1989 when 2 brothers with the surname Tomasso generously donated the land to the city. Some of the resident wildlife include bullfrogs, common snapping turtles, great blue herons, green frogs, raccoons, white-tailed deer, and many others.

*Unless otherwise posted, all places open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.
*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, golfing, harming of wildlife, littering, loitering around bathhouses and restrooms,
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, fishing, ice-skating, motor vehicles (including watercraft), swimming.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
