Welcome to M.L.K. Park in Waterbury, Connecticut. This urban playground, like many parks across the nation was named for Martin Luther King Jr. the great Civil Rights Leader who was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1929 and died in Memphis, Tennessee in 1968. The two full basketball courts are lighted so people can play at night. Come out and shoot some hoops and bring the kids to play on the structure and have fun.
