Welcome to Herman M. Holloway Sr. Park in Wilmington, Delaware. This park was first established in 1964 and was known for many years as Compton Park after Spencer Compton, an 18th century Earl of Wilmington and British Prime Minister. In 1989 the park was renamed for Delaware's first African-American State Senator.
This park is also home to Dr. M. Foster Brown Community Pool.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open a dawn and close at dusk.
*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, skating without pads and helmet.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
