Welcome to Lake Manatee State Park located in Bradenton, Florida. This is one of only a handful of lakes in Florida to have been created by a dam and that dam was built across the Manatee River in the 1960's. There is a 20 horsepower limit on motorized watercraft. This park offers some excellent fishing opportunities.
