Welcome to Morningside Nature Center and Newnans Lake State Forest in Gainesville, Florida. This longleaf pine forest preserve has great spring wildflowers and lots of great wildlife. The Living History Farm offers the visitor a glimpse as to what Florida living was like in the 19th century. Come out and explore miles of trails.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, motor vehicles, skating.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
