Welcome to one of Florida's oldest State Parks, the magnificent O'Leno State Park which was first established in the 1930's after it was used as a Forest Service Training camp.. The Civilian Conservation Corps helped build many of the park's facilities. The park is named for the late 19th century town of Leno which was in the region and originally named Keno. The name was changed because people were not happy about the association Keno had with gambling. This wetlands preserve lies on the banks of the Santa Fe Rier which is a great place for canoeing.
