Welcome to Chuck Rogers Park in Jacksonville, Florida. Believe it or not this park was once an operating landfill before becoming a city park in 1995. It is an active soccer facility with the first game being played in March of 1997. It is named for a man who worked for the park's authority for over four decades, Chuck Rogers. The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking.
