Welcome to Jacksonville's Ritz Park. This small community park was given to the City of Jacksonville by the Ritz Cracker Company and this is how it got it's name. Actually the previous sentence is a RecPlanet joke. The park is really named after the nearrby Ritz Theater and LaVilla Museum, a place rich in African American History. As a matter of fact, the neighborhood known as LaVilla was once known as the Harlem of the South. Today this park boasts picnic tables so come on out and bring your meal!
