Welcome to Lake George Conservation Area, an oasis of hardwood swamps and flatwood forests spread across Putnam and and Volusia County Florida. This large natural park helps protect the home of black bears, white-tailed deer, foxes, alligators, bobcats, gopher tortoises, and bald eagles. For the human visitor there are miles of multipurpose trails and numerous aquatic opportunities. Come out and explore!
