Welcome to Florida's Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park located on the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay not far from Niceville. This park is named partly for the United States Air Force Colonel who worked hard to protect this land. It was previously owned by the United States military and used for training during World War II. Some of the trees are over 3 centuries in age.
