Welcome to Lighthouse Point Park located in Ponce Inlet, Florida. This beautiful park is the home of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse which was first built in 1887.
Wildlife: Lighthouse Point Park helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including raccoons, squirrels, possums, armadillos, skunks, seagulls, and ospreys. Please treat their home with respect.
As the founder of RecPlanet I will tell you about my personal experience here. I have been on numerous occasions and the view from the top of the lighthouse is well worth the tiring climb to the top. This park also boasts nature trails, a nice picnic area, and more. Come on out and explore! This park was RecPlanet place of the day on December 20, 2014.
