Welcome to Florida's beautiful Deer Lake State Park located on the panhandle near Santa Rosa Beach. This is one of Florida's newer State Parks having been first established in the winter of 1996. It protects habitat for rare plant species including Gulf coast lupines and Curtis Sand Grass. Some of the resident wildlife include Florida black bears, coyotes, and white-tailed deer. Come out and swim on the sugar white sand beaches.
