Welcome to Links Plaza Park in downtown Sarasota, Florida, a suburb of Tampa. This is the site where Colonel (and eventually mayor) John Hamilton Gillespie created the city's first golf course in 1905.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m. 

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, motor vehicles. 

*The following require special permits; archery, flying remote control aircraft, planting.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
