Atlanta Georgia Parks
Herbert Greene Park is a large and beautiful Atlanta nature preseve on the banks of Utoy Creek. It protects wildlife habitat for white-tailed deer, red-tailed hawks, squirrels, owls, and many others. It is a nice place for bird-watching.
When visiting any Atlanta pubilc park please respect the rules.
*Park hours are from 6am until 11pm daily.
*Please report all illegal activities by dialing 911.
*The following are prohibited in all Atlanta parks; ponies, horses, narcotics, boating, swimming, defacing of public property, littering, glass objects.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
*All sales, tents, canopies, and amplified sound canopies require special permit.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas.
*Except during special events and with the proper permits, consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Please respect these rules as well as all local, State of Georgia, and United States statutes. Come out and have fun.
