Welcome to the Historic Fourth Ward Park located in Atlanta, Georgia. This piece of land became an urban park in the early 21st century as part of the Atlanta Beltline project, which is an effort to create an urban brownfield of abandoned railway into a string of parks and transit. What was once asphalt and urban decay is now a beautiful urban park that provides recreational opportunities for people and wildlife habitat for creatures suck as ducks, blue herons, and others. Come out and have fun. This park is divided into two main sections, one section being at 664 Angier Avenue and the other at 800 Willoughby Way. The Willoughby Way section is the section with the multipurpose field and the Tony Hawk Skate Park.
When visiting any Atlanta pubilc park please respect the rules.
*Park hours are from 6am until 11pm daily.
*Please report all illegal activities by dialing 911.
*No littering. Please place all trash in proper receptacles.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
*All sales must be done with special permit.
*All tents or canopies require special permit.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas.
*Glass containers are prohibited.
*Except during special events and with the proper permits, consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
*Horses and ponies are prohibited.
*The parks are drug free facilities.
*No amplified music without special permit.
*No boating or swimming in park waterways.
*Please respect all park property.
