Welcome to Rodney Cook Sr. Memorial Park located on the Vine City neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, the capitol city of Georgia, host city of the 1996 summer Olympics, and birthplace of the founder of RecPlanet. Come shoot some baskets, bring the children to the playground, or fly a kite on the park's open field.
When visiting any Atlanta pubilc park please respect the rules.
*Park hours are from 6am until 11pm daily.
*Please report all illegal activities by dialing 911.
*The following are prohibited in all Atlanta parks; defacing of public property, drugs, harming of wildlife, horses, littering, glass objects.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
*All sales, tents, canopies, and amplified sound canopies require special permit.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas.
*Except during special events and with the proper permits, consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Please respect these rules as well as all local, State of Georgia, and United States statutes. Come out and have fun.
