Sunken Garden Park is a small yet pretty neighborhood park located across the street from Morningside Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia. This was RecPlanet place of the day on August 1, 2015.

When visiting any Atlanta pubilc park please respect the rules.

*Park hours are from 6am until 11pm daily.

*Please report all illegal activities by dialing 911. 

*The following are prohibited in all Atlanta parks; ponies, horses, narcotics, boating, swimming, defacing of public property, littering, glass objects.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.

*All sales, tents, canopies, and amplified sound canopies require special permit.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas.

*Except during special events and with the proper permits, consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
