Welcome to Georgia's John Tanner State Park located in Carroll County not too far from the Alabama State line. Though owned by the State of Georgia, Carroll County plays a big role in maintaining this park. Before it was public property, it was a private park operated by a local businessman named John Tanner. Perhaps this park's best known feature is it's white sand swimming beach but visitors also come here to enjoy volleyball, horseshoes, the park's nature trail, and more. Come out and explore.
