Forty Acres Nature Preserve is a nice natural area in Clarkston, Georgia. Contrary to it's name it is not actually 40 acres in size. Come out and have a nice hike in the woods.
While visiting any DeKalb County Georgia Park please respect the rules.
*Except for the lighted areas, and except for otherwise posted times, all park facilities open at dawn and close at 7 p.m.
*All animals must be leashed, except for areas designted as off leash such as dog parks.
*It is illegal to remove any plants or wildlife from the county parks. Also please do not harrass wild animals.
*All fires must stay in designated areas.
*Weapons are prohibited in all county parks.
*Swimming is not allowed in any of the lakes, ponds, or creeks. (It's not very sanitary anyway).
*Activities such as soliciting, sales, and public addresses require special permits.
*No littering. Please place all trash in proper receptacles, they are there for a reason. Please use them.
